What To Expect
Sunday School is for anyone under the age of twenty. Infants are cared for in our nursery, while other students have classes with other students roughly their own age. Opening and closing exercises involve hymn singing and the Lord’s Prayer with the entire Sunday School.
The fundamental lessons taught in Sunday School are the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer and the Sermon on the Mount. Classes often focus on a portion of the weekly Bible lesson that also serves as the sermon for our church services.
Teachers in our Sunday School recognize that childhood and young adulthood can involve serious and personal challenges. They foster discourse that welcomes real engagement and helps students take a Christian approach to whatever faces them.
We would love to have you join us for Sunday School. Please come as you are–no need to dress up or bring anything with you.
If you can’t make it at the regular time, we’re happy to arrange an afternoon or evening session. We think Sunday School is important and we don’t want you to miss it because of scheduling conflicts.
